About the fuel cell silicone hose

Hiwowsport Fuel-Cell silicone hoses have been specially developed to minimize the risk of contamination of fluids or air carried by the hose with trace amounts of extractable materials found in traditional silicones, such as silicone. Silicone, while still providing all the service benefits expected of a hiwowsport silicone hose. Therefore, while it is suitable for a variety of chemical fluid/gas transfer applications where the risk of contamination needs to be minimized, it also meets the needs of applications ranging from motorsport and high-performance bicycles and cars to bus, truck and rail industries, while also Suitable for static generator applications.

In addition our standard Reinforced Silicone Rubber Hoses have 3 plies of Polyester reinforcement – this applies to all hoses up to an Internal Diameter of 50mm. For larger diameter hoses we use 4 plies of the same reinforcement to provide better pressure resistance.

Our unique manufacturing process approach allows us to manufacture custom-designed hoses, including one-piece assemblies, that limit the potential for joint failure and leaks, while improving flow. Inserts and branches can also be designed into the hose.
